You were bigger than life so a world without you in it just feels so wrong.

 Although there is relief in  knowing you’re no longer suffering, the reality of your absence comes in suffocating waves and the  permanence that comes with time feels like the enemy. 

You exuded unfathomable strength,  selflessness and a contagious sense of humor even in those moments when you had every right to  surrender. 

I know you’re watching over us… Your presence is felt when we’re together. Have fun  sharing your giggle fits with the other angels up there, but don’t forget to give us signs of your love  and well being. We’ll be looking out for them.
